Tape Backup

MDI are experienced in providing traditional tape backup solutions and using best practices we design a backup solution to suit your business. We can provide tape drives, autoloaders and library solutions from the leading vendors including Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu and Quantum.

Disc-to-Disc (D2D)

When backup windows prohibit the use of a traditional tape solution and your infrastructure does not support a tape library then D2D can make all the difference. The latest HP range of solutions emulates the industry standard LTO technology to provide simultaneous backups of servers to multiple virtual tape autoloaders. Therefore significantly reducing the backup window and the data can later be archived to tape without any performance impact on the infrastructure.
